Is WellTrust eCare suitable for small care providers?
Absolutely. Our Starter plan is designed specifically for smaller providers with up to 20 staff. You get full CQC compliance tools, the staff portal, training matrix, and document management — everything needed to run compliantly from day one.
How long does it take to set up?
Most organisations are fully operational within 48 hours. We provide guided onboarding and help you import your existing staff records. Enterprise clients receive on-site training and a dedicated account manager.
Is the platform GDPR compliant?
Yes. WellTrust eCare is fully GDPR compliant. All data is encrypted at rest and in transit, stored on UK-based servers. A Data Processing Agreement (DPA) is included with all plans.
Can family members access the platform?
Yes — the Service Users & Families portal (Professional plan and above) allows authorised family members to access care updates, visit records, and communication tools. Access is controlled by the care provider and requires explicit service user consent.
What is the AI Assisted Notes feature?
AI Assisted Notes helps care workers create professional, CQC-compliant care notes from brief observations. The care worker enters key points, the AI expands them into a full professional record, and the care worker reviews and confirms before saving. The care worker is always responsible for clinical accuracy.
Can I cancel at any time?
Yes. No long-term contracts. Cancel at any time with 30 days' notice. Your data can be exported in full before your account closes.
